How did you get started with Reliv?

David and I got started back in July 2001, when I met a lady that introduced us to Reliv. I was open-minded, and David was not, but he took it anyway because of the 30-day money back guarantee. We had just sold our bridal stores when Reliv came into our lives, and I was not interested in another business. But Reliv was different. So, I went to my first conference in Reno, Nevada. I was excited to share Reliv. In our third month we were number one in the nation with volume and we received a Humanitarian Award. We achieved five Dr. Ted plaques and our income was steady. In 2009, I decided to go to the Philippines because our organisation was growing. Since moving we adopted a 4-month-old baby, who survived a storm that devastated an island nearby. David retired and we have embraced social media marketing to grow our business and sponsor millennials that love giving their children Reliv Now for Kids. We were Bronze Ambassadors when we started social media and today, we are Presidential Gold Ambassadors and GAT members. Our lifestyle is amazing living in Cebu and we are both at home raising our little girl, RosaMia. 

What is your "why"?

Our "Why" is our daughter, RosaMia. She is the one that drives us to do more and help more people. I love seeing young families' lives change because of our Reliv opportunity. Being a mom again at 56 has made me appreciate and understand more of being a parent and what families want to achieve. RosaMia has made David and me become better versions of ourselves.

Who or what inspires you?

My mother and father are a big inspiration to me and what they went through to raise us and make me who I am today inspires me. 

How do you define success?

Living anywhere you want because you can with no limitations. Buying anything you want that makes you happy because you have the money for it. 
Buying for and giving to those in need because you have the money and not expecting it to be returned. 

What's something about you (a fun fact) that not many people know?

I entered a few pageants in high school and college: Miss Cebu - Tourism 1976, Cebu's 5 Prettiest 1977. When I was 18, I flew in a helicopter with a Prince of a Sheik from Saudi Arabia and he proposed to me to become his third wife. I was shown the lifestyle, but it was not for me. Since I said no, he took off the next day! My nickname is Bambina and David's hidden talent is that he loves to sing. 

What do you do in your spare time?

I love to sing and search for different restaurants as I am a foodie. I love cooking new dishes and trying new spices. I love my plants, collecting shells and rare plants and playing with RosaMia. We both love movies with a bowl of buttered popcorn! One or two movies per day around mid-afternoon and after dinner and I can multi-task replying to leaders working online.
